"I found the site simple to use, and..."
I found the site simple to use, and it felt trustworthy overall. I was able to find the hours, ticket details, and parking info without digging around too much. A couple of pages were a little slow to load on my phone, but nothing that kept me from getting what I needed. Booking was straightforward, and everything seemed clear enough.

"Fun visit, especially the penguins!"
I had a really nice time here. The animal exhibits were fun to walk through, and the penguins and gorillas were probably my favorites. Some spots did feel a little crowded, and we missed a few animals that were hiding, but I guess that’s kind of expected, right? Overall, it was still a fun visit, and the habitats looked clean and well cared for, which made me feel better about the experience.

"Kinda easy to plan around their hours"
I checked Calgary Zoo before we went, and the hours were clear and actually up to date. It made planning our day kinda easy since we didn’t have to guess or worry about making a wasted trip. Really helpful overall

"Just What We Wanted for a Family Day"
We were hoping for an easy, low-stress outing with the kids, and that’s pretty much exactly what we got. The kids had a great time, and it made for a simple, fun family day without much hassle

"Really nice night event for the kids"
We went to one of the night events, i think the kids got a lot out of it. I mean, they seemed to learn so much during the program, at least from what they were telling me afterward. The staff were super nice too, which always makes a big difference. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect going in, but it ended up being a really good experience.

"Still a good zoo day despite the rain"
We went on a windy, rainy day, and it was still a good visit. I was kind of worried it would be a total washout, but there were enough indoor spots and covered areas to warm up or wait out the showers, which made a big difference. Some of the paths did feel exposed, though, so maybe that’s just something to plan for? The animal buildings were especially helpful with the kids. I do wish there was a little more seating under shelter, because that would’ve made it easier to take breaks. Overall, I’d say it was a solid day and worth 4 stars.

"I rented a stroller at the..."
I rented a stroller at the Calgary Zoo and it was straightforward. The staff showed us where to go, and the stroller was clean enough and worked fine for the day. You do notice it gets busy around the rental area in the morning, so it feels a bit crowded at first. Still, it made getting around with our little one so much easier

"Easy ticket purchase, just a little slow"
I bought tickets online for the Calgary Zoo and it was straightforward overall. I’ve booked zoo tickets online before, and this was about what I expected, picked the date, paid, and the confirmation email came through right away. The site was a bit slow on my phone, and I did have to reload it once, but it all worked out fine in the end.

"Fair rules, but the slow refund made me uneasy"
The cancellation info was easy enough to understand, and the refund policy seemed fair. But the refund took longer than I expected, and after a while it started to make me question how much I could trust the process

"Great gift shop finds"
I found a bunch of cute stuff here and was able to pick out something for everyone easily. Definitely a solid spot when you need gifts without overthinking it.

"A really nice spot for a relaxed walk"
I really enjoyed wandering around here. The grounds are pretty, the paths are easy to follow, and it has such a calm, peaceful feel. Compared to some other places I’ve walked, this one felt much more relaxed and unhurried.

Well... the food was actually better than I expected, especially for a zoo. The prices were fair too, which was a nice surprise. The kids enjoyed it as well, so overall it worked out great for us.

"Ended Up Really Impressed"
I wasn’t expecting much at first, but wow, the staff were super helpful. I went from feeling a bit annoyed and unsure to actually being really glad I stopped in. They made everything easy and were genuinely nice about it.

"A Nice Day Out, With a Few Thoughts"
Went to the Calgary Zoo with my family it was a decent day. Some of the animals were lively and fun to watch, and the staff genuinely seemed to care, which was really nice to see. But I’ll admit, a few of the enclosures felt a little underwhelming, almost like they were missing that spark or space the animals deserved. Maybe there’s a whole behind-the-scenes world I don’t know about, but it did make me pause and wonder. I still really like the zoo, especially the educational side of it, but I truly hope they keep putting effort into making the animal spaces more comfortable and impressive

"Easy place to enjoy a few hours"
We spent around 4 hours at the Calgary Zoo, it felt like the perfect amount of time. From our experience, it was really easy to move around at a relaxed pace without feeling rushed, and it wasn’t too much for the kids either. The pathways are laid out nicely, so we could stop for breaks, grab snacks, and circle back to anything we wanted to see. We managed to see most of the animals and still had time to just enjoy the day. Overall, it was a really nice outing.

"Felt safe, even while we were rushing around"
I went with my kids and we were kind of rushed the whole time, but I still felt safe everywhere we went. There were staff around, the paths were easy to get through, and security was noticeable without being over the top. It ended up being a nice day out, and I didn’t really have to worry.

"I went on a weekend and expected it…"
I went on a weekend and expected it to be way more crowded, but it wasn’t bad at all. The lines moved quickly, even when grabbing food, and I never felt like I was stuck waiting around forever. I also liked having the email confirmation and receipts handy on my phone, which made things feel smooth overall.

"Pretty easy to get around"
We found it really easy to make our way around, even with the kids in tow. The signs were clear, and the maps helped a lot when we were going between the animal areas and food spots. We hardly got turned around at all. I kind of feel like they must have planned the layout with families in mind, because it just felt simple to navigate
